THANK YOU

My child

Your sparkling eyes

Blink sanguine, innocent

The naughty smile, tinkling laughter

Redefines the spirit of love and life

Tottering feet stride confident

Living today, I am

learning, thank you

My child

I hope I have got the syllables correct while attempting the Sunday Mini-Challenge: Rictameter fed by Grace at IGRT.

  5. Very sweet and sincere, a good form for this because the symmetry calms.

  7. Found this at Toads AND Poetry Pantry, I think. A very nice rictometer. Motherhood is always a welcome subject, and the "naughty" reference means you are a strong but gentle mother. Aren't they simply a gift from God? Thanks, Akila! Amy

  12. We live...we learn
    not trying to discern
    whence comes wisdom...
    yet grateful when we
    are allowed to know.
    My child.
    Thank you,
    my child.
