SOUNDS OF SILENCE

Rhythm breathes into heartbeats
Dissolving into the whirring fan
Rotating to drown the noises
Of children, giggling innocence

The blank wall stares down
Waiting for waves born out of my gaze
Create a collage of amoebic colours
Shooting stars of wishes, at random
Proliferating the mythical probability of fulfillment

Eyes begin to dart through the stars
Wishing to prioritize wishes
If and only if -
Doses of practical stimulus
Could check wishes galloping to the call of the wind
Taking direction from the breeze of desires
Escaping into clocked hands

Back to my table under the whirring fan
A fragrant whiff awaits me to pluck a pen from the stand
Gather the little nuances born of
De-tangling the wires
Inter-meshed around the laptop and within
Into compositions of

Lasting Impressions For Ever!
