Surfeit of myriad shapes surround
Jigsaw-ed for a puzzle
Born of my birth
How much is enough? The battle continues
Torn between the choice to carry or abandon
Perceptions sift through the voids
Finding a companion
The haze shadowing the defined contours clears
One
Two
Three
Reveals a stairway of a meandering maze
Tapering to challenge my velleity -found
On the premise of veritable excuses
Straddling through nonchalant reflections
I find them best remaining in the design
Gifting me experiences.

Them = the shapes? And the narrator stays in the design? Defined contours are easier than a meandering maze, it seems, if not so challenging.
ReplyDeleteha. dfe like the last part better...first i went to Escher with the stairway, like the pick at excuses and nonchalant....experience is def a gift, by design and pattern
ReplyDeleteI liked the second half, as well. I especially like "gifting me experiences"....
