SAFE - random thoughts

SAFE...secure

Safe cradles
Suckling maternal warmth
Wrapped in bliss
Cocooned!...

SAFE....hopefully

Blissful ignorance
bountiful innocence
Blooming child
Protected...

SAFE…thankfully

A distant lamp sparks
Hope to a racing heart
Darting out of a portentous pounce
Relief...!

  1. Children should feel safe, but are they? Hope is all we have. Nice to meet you.

  2. love the progression of thoughts that accompany SAFE in each heading here. The stanzas within each heading are really nicely put together as well, cocooned, protected, relief. Each has this natural build to it, really enjoyed that a lot. thanks

  7. Feeling 'safe' is one of the best feelings in the world. And you especially know it when you haven't felt that way.
