JOURNEY...

Packed energies

Pull the string

Turning red, while

Focusing

Unrelenting

Free!

To explore

Recede with the wind, at times

Alone, yet

Not lonely

On an endless sojourn

Till it shrinks

Back to its elements, slowly

Such is this journey – LIFE!

Written for Poetics on DVerse by Kelvin S.M. where I missed trhe Linky deadline and now sharing it here - Open Link Night - 85

  1. ...life, indeed, is an endless journey... and like the balloon no one knows who will hold your string at the beginning... sometimes the hold will be firm & gripping... and as you go along all the gripping hold will loosen & maybe time for you to fly... fly an, yes, own the sky as long as you can... and when you're settled, fulfilled.... go down and back to your elements... thanks for the insightful read & glad you participated... come Tuesday & link this on OLN & get the reads your poem deserves... smiles...

  7. free to explore...i like the image of the balloon for our journey through life..sometimes in big crowds, sometimes just drifting on our own, not necessarily lonely though..a playball to the wind at times.. yeah..sounds like life..
