Crystal clear

or convex
Plain – just me
Hair waves a partition
Split left and right
Knowing not where
Exclamations
Would spring up
Would spring up
For the sensory
To pick and lead
To pick and lead
To me
Within
Echoes my search
Through the pages
Of my nest – gossamer
I find
Revealing
Parallel postures
Of diffidence
Indifference
Growing to find
A focal point
To converge
Into a collage
Of little differences
I seek
Beyond the beauty
Of the noticeable
That I carry-
Crystal clear
ha. some fun word play in this with like words.... Into a collage
ReplyDeleteOf little differences ...and the beyond beauty of what is noticeable, my fav parts....cool write...
Very fine, and complex so that I suspect the "crystal clear" is irony. I mean, who looks for the exclamations in the hair and the parallel postures and nest and the collage of difference which makes for a greater beauty than immediately obvious. I will see more after reading this poem.
ReplyDeleteI think to reach a point of clarity takes a lot of reflection and hard work..beautifully written
ReplyDeleteBeyond beauty, Crystal clear - love the words used to create the image (or is at an illusion) very nicely done
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection in the mirror. The crystal clear image that people see of us... (but do they?)
ReplyDeletemirrors speak the truth
ReplyDeleteI specially like the ending lines ~ Its hard to see with clarity beyond the flesh & the differences that divides us ~ Good one akila ~
ReplyDeleteWe seek our own uniqueness 'beyond the beauty of the noticeable,' I think!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry . . . shower, shampoo, a little conditioner, towel dry and gently brush . . . everything will be fine.
ReplyDeleteOne need some time to see beyond the beauty...to find the real one...can we see it in mirror?
ReplyDelete...'i seek beyond the beauty of the noticeable'---i loved that... hope all is well in your world, Akila... smiles...
ReplyDeleteA clear reflection of beautiful words.
ReplyDeleteI agree that sometimes we need to see beyond the noticeable beauty so as to find the real beauty.
ReplyDeleteI like the first two lines! Nothing is crystal clear even when we can see the reflection clearly!
ReplyDeleteAkhila, your page is simply wonderful. I went through many of the posts here and they speak to me in a special way. You have that gift to touch hearts. Appalause :) Keep writing.
