We live in sad times indeed when every mother lives in fear for her daughter's safety - not from accidents or mishaps, but from attack and exploitation. Your garden is where every girl should grow up to be confident, opinionated, self-assured women with a healthy sense of reality.

Some important lessons to be learnt here on empowering the girl-child.Mixihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03929917191909619353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3267755887536052469.post-11292176493872895702013-03-03T06:31:06.664-08:002013-03-03T06:31:06.664-08:00I love the sense of freedom and bliss in the words...I love the sense of freedom and bliss in the words, the joy of lifealan1704https://www.blogger.com/profile/16068631142963794991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3267755887536052469.post-85261707546781916632013-03-03T06:22:40.311-08:002013-03-03T06:22:40.311-08:00I read this like a prayer that should go viral. I like the stanza breakdown for emphasis on the barbaric betrayal of trusted brethren and the melee, but even more for the emphasis on nurture and what this "Garden" can give, does give--even to take with in flight. This is a poem that accepts the letting go.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05723639294340760325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3267755887536052469.post-32937903962588173362013-03-03T05:31:16.024-08:002013-03-03T05:31:16.024-08:00What a beautiful safe haven your garden is.
